In my devotional reading today I read Isaiah 49:1-13 and one thing that I'd like to share from this passage: The middle verse (Isaiah 53:6) says, “The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all,” pointing toward Christ’s saving death. Isaiah 49:3 calls the Messiah “Israel” in order to identify the Messiah with His people. Not only is Jesus presented as humble in verse 5, but He is presented as Savior to the both Jews and the Gentiles. If you're a Christian or Jew you have much to look forward to! If you'd like to know how to accept the Lord as your Savior just write to me and I will share that with you.
