If I could afford the $15.00 I would get this again.  But I have a nice alternative for $5.00 at AVON.

At first look at the product I thought that they were too thick for my nails.  But surprisingly not, they fit well and I had some for a pedicure as well.

I didn't have any comments from friends because I'm immobile and can't get to visit them.  My husband said that they were very expensive when we can get them at Avon for $5.00 a set (and still have some for a pedicure!)

I'm rating them a 3/5 because of the cost.

As someone who daily battles with DAILY with depression and has attempted suicide a couple of times, I can tell you that there is nothing "SELFISH" about the whole thing. I want to scream every time I see someone say that. We fight our demons daily and no amount of prayer is going to take it away because it is a medical condition. God created us with depression. I'm sorry Christian friends, but I've battled this my whole life and the only person to ever see it me was a medical doctor.

My psychiatrist of 17 years was a real God send. He always has me taper off the one medication if I start to get too hyper. I have several support groups on FaceBook but the real support is my wonderful husband and my incredible dog! I also belong to a Christian group online and get a daily writings from people like me (Chronic Illness, Invisible Illness) that are grounded in the Word. I am amazed at how people in these groups and the ones who write have way many more illnesses, diseases than myself and who endlessly supply support to others.

Over the years here on FaceBook, I have shared things not to get friends to feel sorry for me but to ask for prayer and good thoughts and energies and any words of support. Some have hurt when I hurt and are happy when I'm happy. One of the worst things to say to a person, is "I'll pray for you." Another time I will share again why that is.

We don't know what Robin Williams was struggling with at the time of his depression.  His wife may not even know.  Our issues are complicated and only a PROFESSIONAL DR. and PROFESSIONAL Support should attempt to diagnose or medicate we who have it.   Sometimes going off meds. creates a horrible experience and that is when people make this permanent solution (not to a temporary problem..... sometimes a lifetime problem) and it's very hard to explain to anyone just exactly what sets us off into a major downward spiral or what it will be that stops that spiral and helps us move upward.

So please....  if you have never understood the disease, take today to search online about it.  Ask your friend with depression any questions you may have.

These were easy to make!  Just get the matte red, white and blue spray paint colors and spray paint the jars.  Add a tie to the jar.  Fill the jar with whatever you want in there from candy to candles!

Halo's Liv-A-Littles Freeze-Dried Salmon Product Review

 

Sandie (my 12 year old Sharpei Mix dog) loves loves loves SALMON.  I was given a free treat container of the freeze-dried salmon by Halo!  My dog could smell that salmon on the outside of the shipping box, she knew it was for her!

I like the small treat because it is perfect for treating her while we are eating dinner (to keep from giving her food we are eating which is a big NO) and she definitely wants MORE.

I would order this all the time but the cost is ineffective for me.  I realize that this cost is very good for this product considering what other places are charging for it.  It's something I would consider for a birthday gift, the day she was adopted, Christmas gift.  And I will buy it again!

I decided that I will buy this again for the mere reason that I learned on the directions that you can push the treat (dehydrated salmon) between your fingers and add it to the meal to encourage eating.  Sandie needs this right now because as a Senior she had blood work done and a urine pull.  They have her on a special dog food to treat the crystals in her urine.
I did that today and she ate all her breakfast! 

I would highly recommend this treat to other dog companions (aka "owners").  I think if Sandie could talk she would recommend it to others too as long as they aren't taking from her supply!

ps... TO THE CAT PEOPLE: This product is for cats too!  Meow!
